How long will the battery of my Titan watch last?

Typically, the Titan watch battery is covered under warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase during which Titan offers a free replacement of battery if needed. Please note - the warranty period for battery of digital watches is 6 months. In case of watches with other features such as Chronograph, Alarm & Light facility, battery life depends on frequency of usage of these functions.

How frequently should I change my battery?

Ideally you must change your battery once every 2 years. However, the first battery of your watch may require replacement before 2 years due to gap between manufacturing date and selling date. The battery life of watches with special functions such as Chronograph, Digital and Alarm depends on usage pattern of these functions.

How to activate my watch? / Why does my watch have a plastic piece between the Case & Crown?

There is a plastic spacer provided between the case & the crown to keep the watch in stop condition. This prevents battery drain when the watch is not in use. Carefully remove the plastic spacer & press the crown gently inwards (normal position). This will activate your watch, post which you can set the time and date.

Is polishing/re-plating possible on the gold-plated case & strap of my watch?

While Titan offers a special guarantee of 1 year on the gold plating of its watches, polishing or re-plating of such watches is not possible. You may visit your nearest Titan service center for replacement of case/strap.

Is it possible to engrave initials on the back cover of the watch?

Engraving is possible only for Nebula watches as a special case which will take around 15 working days. This will be done at the Titan Industries Limited watch factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

Titan service centers provide services for your watch, including battery and spare parts replacement.

Does my Titan watch automatically adjust to a Leap Year?

No, during leap years you would have to manually change the date of the month as the watches cannot automatically detect the leap year.
